Taal Trail

"Took tricycle from Tagaytay to Taal Lake. A catamaran took us to the Taal Island. Got a guide who took us on a dusty path up. Some people on horses. Had a beatiful view over the surroundings just before sunset." - Pieter, Mar 14, 2018
"- Forget the flatform when you reach the the crater. Go to the Red Lava. - You will gonna appreciate the whole view of the crater at the Red Lave. - No fence at the Red Lava. - Trail is very open, very hot during noon. Should climb the crater 3pm onwards. - Golf is offered at the crater view. - Fresh Buko and Soft drinks has the same price of 50php. - It's better to walk/hike than to ride a horse. - Bringing face mask is a must." - Shifueya, May 23, 2015
"First summit! The trail was easy. The main concern is the dust and direct exposure to sunlight. For details of my adventure: http://celineism.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-islandception-of-taal-volcano.html" - celinethemoonelf, Apr 13, 2014
"Since college days, i have always been to Tagaytay. We have relatives from the area. My ex- and I usually drove there on weekends. I had never been to Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. The hike up the crater and Taal's caldera last August 4, 2013 was my first and only experience of the famous volcano lying within a crater lake." - EyomSadongdong, Jun 4, 2013
