Very enjoyable scramble. A hike on good trail until 50m from East Peak. Short easier moderate scrambling leads to East Peak.
Many people describe West Peak as a difficult scramble. With snow and ice, I went slightly further west and went up via a chimney/narrow gully. It is probably easier moderate scramble when dry, but the ice made it a bit tricky. I used handholds on both sides of the chimney to lift myself up and then down.

Great scenery from the top. Ernest Ross would be more popular than Yamnuska or Heart Mountain if it were close to Calgary. I'll be back in the summer for the traverse towards Two O'clock Ridge via a few unnamed summits.
