"Amber, Corey, Jon, Lauro & I flew into Denver on Friday night to spend a weekend bagging a few Colorado 14ers. We got in late Friday night, drove to Kite Lake and set up camp. When we got up on Saturday, we headed up the trail to Democrat, then Cameron, Lincoln, Bross & South Bross before taking a crazy steep scree slope down the NW side of South Bross. We had perfect weather! " — Kevin • Aug 29, 2015
"The ascent is pretty windy but only really in one direction for our trip. Just putting your back to it at the top made the difference in temperature and a 360 view from the top is worth it." — DaniB • Jul 22, 2015
"Great approach from Kite Lake and Mt. Democrat. While running, watched as clouds slipped into the valley below and quickly crept up the mountainside...cleary this would make the summit of Lincoln very interesting..." — native414 • Aug 29, 2011
"I believe this should count even though you don't drop far enough in the saddle. It's over 14,000 feet and it's in route to Mount Lincoln, it counts in my book. At the summit, Lincoln comes out of hidig and it looks like a swirly top of an ice cream cone. Looking back at Democrat you could see 40-50 people at the summit. That's why leave before sun up." — lindsaywouldratherbecamping • Jul 23, 2011
"Not much more then an insigificant point on Lincoln. I don't count it. Would have avoided it if I could.
Very few people ventured on the 14ers east of Democrat. Once we left Democrat we saw very few people. Hiked it on a tuesday." — MtnGeek • Jun 22, 2010
