"Climbed the right side of the south face up a large dihedral that is continuous up the face. Made a long (4 mile) approach from camp near Fremont Crossing. Typical Wind River ascent: Started the day with nice weather but topped out in lighting and snow storm. Climb was 5 full 160-180 foot pitches. (The first two went at 5.7, the rest more like 5.6). Technical ascent required 4 hours. The descent was relatively straightforward down the East Ridge and required no rappels." — mark.r.johnston • Aug 13, 2013
