Parked on the lane on the west side of the River Severn and headed north to Nannerth Fawr along the road. Then the bridleway up the east ridge past a radio mast, through sheep pasture, and up onto the open moor. Then rough pathless ground to the summit. Continued on to Penrhiw-wen and Esgair Dderw before heading down into Cwm Coch by the bridleway back to the car. Solo. Grey and cloudy with a few spots of rain. Cold north-west wind. Some sunshine much later on final descent.
