"A Wildcat Carter traverse with the girlfriend picking me up on the Imp Face Tr. Beautiful day out with a chilly wind. Felt great going up the Wildcat Ridge Tr out of Pinkham Notch. Also got to visit Mt Hight and Imp Face. Gridded out 3 peaks of the 5 today." — newenglandwarrior • Jul 28, 2021
"What a great hike! From the north trailhead to the south in a loop. A lot of climbing in the first 2.2 miles to the summit. Awesome views, very few people. Next .9 to the Carter junction was a interesting with several stream crossings. Last 3.2 back to the road was consistently downhill, fairly boring, but I surprisingly flew through it. I did the entire 6.3 miles in 4.5 hours, which is really fast for me! I'll probably revisit this one sometime, the view can't be beat." — mikewilliamsjr • Jul 21, 2020
"Very cold - Camelbak froze - even with the insulated sleeve. Ice was forming in the nalgene bottle. Still had a good hike though. http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=1906659" — markst-john • Nov 29, 2012
"Quintessential fall day in NH: golden leaves and sunshine everywhere. The only flaw was the Bulgarian dog that chased us away from the Face and its impressive drop-offs and views." — kali.braseth • Oct 10, 2011
