"Up Tongue Gill from Mill bridge, round the back of Fairfield, started ascent from stepping stones at the end of the lake arriving at Deepdale Hause, climbed St Sunday, then walked back along the ridge to climb Fairfield passing Cofa Pike, then taking in Great Rigg and Stone Arthur before returning to Mill Bridge." - vygodski, Nov 2, 2016
"We repeated a walk from 5 years ago. We were dropped off on Dunmail Raise by a friend. We walked up Raise Beck, past the waterfalls to Grisedale tarn. As last time, the tops were covered in cloud, but it was a reasonable day. We walked round the tarn and up steeply onto Fairfield and into the cloud. We then headed east and then south east, over Hart Crag and Dove Crag, where the mist cleared and the sun appeared. We then went down the long ridge, over High Pike and Low Pike to Scandale and into Ambleside, for a beer in the Golden Rule pub, whilst waiting for our lift." - davidlong, Jun 4, 2016

"Solo. After ascending Helvellyn and Seat Sandal starting from Stanah Cross. From the summit of Seat Sandal I followed the path down to Grisedale Hause and up Fairfield. Continued down to Rydal. Just missed a bus so walked to Ambleside. The day was cold with a little rain. There was a little lying snow on the highest parts with a cornice on the NE face of Helvellyn." - peter43, Apr 1, 2006
