"My fifth hike of the day (my fourth hike was a walk in the woods to Cascade Lake in the Pigeon Wilderness to fulfill a different hiking challenge). The ascent wasn't bad. The slab rock was interesting, being rather prominent so you were walking up a blunt butter knife ridge with 6 foot drops on either side. The firetower had excellent views overlooking the Fulton Lakes. " — newenglandwarrior • Sep 19, 2024
"My first hike of the day. I came in from the Crane Road parking lot. Flat approach, then some ascent. Beautiful directional view to the west from the summit. I headed back down and went off to hike my second peak of the day." — newenglandwarrior • Sep 17, 2024

"11mile hike to Pharaoh Mountain with Cathy and my hunny Lisa to finish up my 29er hiking challenge. Perfect day meaundering within the trees. Summit has many viewpoints around its partial treed summit. Another perfect day in the woods" — ramjet1963 • Sep 3, 2024

"A very mild day for early February to hike Scarface though because of a bridge closure the hike was rerouted by recommendation from a friend to bushwhack the back side up a less travelled route which was a lot of work route finding but a successful and awesome climb" — ramjet1963 • Feb 9, 2024

"Moderate climb, crampons were required.
The summit view was magnificent.
The Fire Tower cabin was closed, but the tower could be climbed, after removing the crampons.
According to the current weather forecast, all that snow may have melted." — pierredenommee • Dec 8, 2023
