"This peak has access issues, it seems to be surrounded by private land on the lower reaches. Although a public footpath does take you to access land, the trig point is next to an antennae which is fenced off and bordered by private houses. Saying that, where I did manage to get to, a plateau on which Christmas trees are being grown, seemed to be higher than the trig point anyway. Reaching this required cutting through thick brambles and gorse. The locals are clearly unimpressed with people wanting to climb this hill, which has been rendered pretty ugly by fencing, antennae and an ugly covered resevoir, and will certainly make it difficult for you or at least make you feel unwelcome. I hope they choke on their next Cornish pastie." — vygodski • Apr 6, 2017
