Beautiful mountain that is in the center of the Región of Murcia. The tracks and paths are well marked and it has some outstanding geological and natural values. We cross the historic Village of Ricote at mountain direction until we find a sign that indicates Almeces Peak. The track goes up
leaving to the right the Barranco de Ambrós.
Further up following black arrows we have taken a narrow path that almost reaches the top.
On the way back we have seen forestry brigades carrying out preventive and surveillance work.
