"A very good larch peak, one of the best there is. Very pleasant hiking until the top 150m where it turns to easy scrambling. Seems the larches here are about a week behind the ones in the lake louise area, something to keep in mind. Alternate descent was no issue and shaved a lot of time/distance. The summit view was surprisingly good as it's the highest peak of the area. Can see far and wide. Highly recommended. My low clearance car made it with minor scrapage, so most cars would be fine. Road was in good shape overall. " — jakefinnan • Sep 22, 2023
"Beautiful bluebird day for a solo ascent of this peak that sees few visitors. For a little extra spice and change of pace from the ridge ascent recommend descending the south scree trail and following the creek drainage back to the main trail." — Mountainman • Jul 18, 2015
