"Continued on from Will Thrall to summit Pleasant View Ridge. This was probably 15-20 minutes from Will Thrall with about 250 feet of elevation gain. Was surprised to see that it had "Pallet" on the benchmark. Doing both peaks amounted to a 13 mile hiking day with 3500 elevation gain." — MikeTeeples • Sep 23, 2017
"Peak 4/5 on a grand tour of Pleasant View Ridge. Took a little longer than I expected to reach this one from Will Thrall Peak. Great views all directions, but we didn't linger long here." — edg • Dec 13, 2015
"Walking the length of Pleasant View Ridge is like travelling between worlds. Each mountain has it's own qualities that make it unique, and each is separated by some butt destroying steep ascents and descents. The Pallett Benchmark makes you work for it." — jimduvall • Dec 11, 2012
"Peak 4/4. Could see all the way up to the high sierras from the summit. The hike back through Rock Canyon was rough with the loose snow on the trail. Made it to the car near Williamson just as the sun set." — Christopher • Feb 17, 2012
