"Went to Pioneer Rock first and then up to Pioneer Springs. Kept going up Pioneer canyon on a very steep, but beautiful ascent to peak 10981. Then traversed the North Ridge over to Peak 10962 and descended on an exploratory route back into Pioneer Canyon. " — Heartattackbruce • Sep 11, 2022
"Went up the trail that starts on the east side of the Girl Scout Camp, summit Pioneer Rock, continued on the trail down into the top of Pioneer Camp. From there we followed the service road up to Pioneer Spring and back down through the camp. " — Heartattackbruce • Aug 10, 2022
"Hadn't been here before, so Mike & I decided to give it a shot. The walk in from Hwy 156 was only a mile along a dirt road. We hiked past the feature & came up from the south. From there, it is a short, but exposed class 4 climb to the summit. There is a bolt up there to assist weaker climbers after someone freeclimbs it, or to assist with descent. Not a bad little hike, if you've only got a couple of hours." — Kevin • Oct 1, 2016
