"2.26.2022~Rest Stop Overlook, 3,222’ & 3,363. 3.5 miles, 2,000’ gain. I took this ridge to try to intersect the Blue Point ridge some friends were on. I had plans with Kevin & Erica for this area but I slept poorly and needed more zzzzz’s. Sorry guys. Anyhoo, This was my attempt to see them on part of their hike but high Frigid and cold wind beat me down so I turned around on Peak 3,363’. I had low energy so I gave up. This is rough country and not for wimps. Great ridge tho. It’s a good passageway to bag some of the higher ones in the area. " — paula.raimondi • Feb 26, 2022
"I had been up this one before, but had wound up there by accident while wandering around. I had the urge to go back with purpose this time & my route was much simpler, plus I went further out the ridge to a few more peaks. I started at Roger's Spring & followed a trail that leads up into the foothills there. From the end of the trail, I headed up the rolling east ridges. From the summit, I headed out to the peaks labeled 982m & 951m on maps. There was another bump in there too which is not labeled on maps, but it had summit cairn. All of them had unique & beautiful views. Went back the way I came. Keep an eye out for fossils in this range. They are all over. Saw a chuckwalla & a wee baby rattlesnake too. I enjoyed the day very much." — StudioHoodoo • Nov 24, 2019
"Went to follow an unnamed/unmarked trail I had seen on a previous trip out of Roger's Spring. Continued beyond the trail & wound up on this peak! Nice views. Saw a desert tortoise up near the summit. I had no idea they went so high into very rocky territory!" — StudioHoodoo • May 3, 2018
