"Started on this hike at 7 AM after a failed Mt Baldy hike. I started out on the Skyline Drive Trail and started ascending the Skinsuit Trail, which was very steep. Then after a lot of steep hills and one downhill I reached Love Peak. There were too much fog so I couldn’t see anything from the summit. The summit had a register. Then after that, I reached Main Divide Road. Then after a failed attempt at mine t benchmark, I headed down the Main Divide Road. After a bit I saw some Coulter Pines and reached Beeks Place. After that I went down the trail and eventually reached Skyline Drive. It was a boring hike down Skyline until the first shortcut. The shortcuts have nice views and gave me access to a old bridge and an American flag. After a bit of more boring hiking I reached the end." — lc444 • Sep 4, 2023
"Formed a semi-loop hike by going up Skyline Drive and coming down the Skinsuit Trail. I extended out on the Main Divide to include Hagador Peak before coming back to the Skinsuit Junction. My first time on Skinsuit. It is a good express route back down, it saved me at least 3-4 miles." — MikeTeeples • Mar 31, 2023
"It was a hot 100 degree day as we slowly mtbed up Hagador Peak. I remember the wave of relief that came over me as I fell off my bike and on to the floor as I was super duper tired. Then after that I mtbed down the road to Hagador Peak at about 40 mph. This video will help you understand more about my hike.

"I summited alll of these peaks in the same day in March 2021. The attempt to summit Mine II Benchmark was foiled because we hadn't hiked for a while. But the Knobcone and Coulter pines along the trail were so cool! This was our second longest hike yet clocking in at 19 miles. This video will help

"Started out at 6:30 AM and headed up the Skyline Trail. Since I have been on the trail before, I already knew that it would be a long and mostly uninteresting climb up a dirt road. Since my last visit, Peakery.com added two new peaks along the trail. This was my chance to not only revisit, but to check off the other two peaks along the way. I headed up the trail with a head of steam and did not stop until I reached Peak 3020 (about 6 miles in). I paused on the summit for a few minutes next to the building that looks like a teed up golf ball. I closed out the climb by going another mile or so to Mine II Benchmark. The summit is flat and has good views. I managed to find the benchmark as well, which confirmed that I was at the right place. Mine II Benchmark was my turnaround point, so I headed back down the road from there, where I visited Peak 2694 before heading back to where I parked. Meanwhile, I passed over Peak 3020 for the second time on the day." — MikeTeeples • Feb 13, 2021
"14 mile round trip hike from Skyline Drive Trailhead in Corona. Had to leave the main trail and hike up the mountain bike trail to summit Peak 2694 only to see a big snake sunning himself (he had kind of a bulge halfway down his length, so I think he was happily digesting too!). Then onto Main Divide to Peak 3020 and the weather radar station and finally to Mine II Benchmark. Then back to discover my car had been broken into... shattered glass near by so I wasn't the only one hit. I've since seen reports on other hiking sites that this area is extremely prone to break-ins. Obviously the last time I hike here... " — marc • May 25, 2019
"A moderate climb up Skyline Dr from Corona and a short stint on Main Divide, passing south by Beeks along the way will get you to this well-known spot. The "ball" on the peak is the KSOX Doppler, used by ABC7 Los Angeles as the Live Megadoppler 7000HD weather radar. The peak's elevation is approximate as it lies between the 3,000' - 3,040' contour. It is a short 30-50 yard detour from Main Divide. It was my first of 4 summits that day, including Mine II Benchmark, Hagador, and Pleasants Peaks coming from Skyline in Corona on a long, exhausting, wonderful, beautiful day in the Santa Ana Mountains. It was the day after rain, so the air was fresh with sage and sagebrush!" — brianpowell • Jan 13, 2019
