"Thursday 5th October 2017. An ascent of North's Seat 175m/105m in the Sussex Weald, near Hastings, East Sussex. About 6.0km, with about 200m of ascent. 1hr 45mins.
I was back in south-east England again, tending my aged father, now in a nursing home. I picked a sunny half-day away from my filial duties to take a trip to the Channel coast for an ascent of this minuscule, prickly and disappointing hill. Then followed a much finer return walk by cliff-top paths back to the car, parked at the Fairlight Visitor Centre. The summit of the hill was for dedicated baggers only, but the trail along the Saxon Shore Way is well worth doing." — marktrengove2 • Oct 5, 2017
