"Meetup group hike. Second time up to the summit today on the way back from Belknap Mt. Took the Marge's and Iron Mines trails down. Marge's was a little tough to find since the sign at the BRT junction is somewhat hidden." — SteveM_StickMan • Dec 23, 2023
"1.3 miles up the gunstock mountain trail to the summit. 1,200 elevation climb. Nice hike! Hard but steady and the trail was easy to follow. Not much of a summit but beautiful views walking around the ski area. Then took the trail to blue trail to belknap mountain which was moderate. The summit was very disappointing. No view! Maybe there is a decent view from the fire tower but it was under construction. Then white trail down the mountain to the parking area. " — HikingMomMC • Sep 21, 2023
"Parked at lower Belknap forest lot off of Carriage rd. Trail on left for Gunstock mt, merge to saddle trail heading towards Belknap mt, white trail to merge on old piper trail, after summit, merge onto piper mt trail(red) loops back to parking lot. A wonderful loop of 3 summits, easy to follow and beautiful views. " — fbones • Oct 19, 2022
"A great day for a hike. Small showers moved in earlier, but the paths were largely dry. I went up clockwise from the parking area. It was very quick in order to beat the sunset. I wish I had more time in NH to enjoy things at a slower pace." — danielmartin • Jul 23, 2021
"Hiked up the Gunstock Mt. (orange) Trail from the Lower Carriage Rd. pkg. area since the gate was now closed. The occasional icy sections were easily bypassed using careful common sense (I didn't have micros). A clear sunny winter's day made my day! Lots of people taking advantage of the nice weather both on the trails and skiing." — SteveM_StickMan • Jan 10, 2021
"Molly and I teamed up with Nick for a red-lining hike up Rowe and Gunstock. We did the road walk up Rowe first. Then dropped down the base of Belknap before climbing all the way up, then heading over and tagging the summit of Gunstock. We then came down the Brook Tr. Afterwards, we went to Lone Oak Ice Cream in Rochester for the Scoops and Loops." — newenglandwarrior • Jun 7, 2020
"Took the ridge trail up to Rowe, nice views along ridge. Headed over to Gunstock, summit was busy with skiers. Took the Brook trail down, still lots of snow on the northern side!" — blackwolf_03278 • Apr 7, 2019
"Did the Belknap Range Traverse (alternate route) to hit 10 peaks and complete my Hike366 project. A really fun route! Left a car at the end of the hike and took an Uber to the starting trailhead. What an adventure." — beaucheminjess • May 10, 2018
"Did a nice loop up Gunstock mtn trail to Gunstock peak, then hiked over to Belknap and Piper mtn. Took the saddle trail and blue trail over to Belknap peak, was wet and cloudy so didn't go up tower. From there took White-Yellow merge to the White trail, then the Old Piper trl (orange) to Piper mtn peak. After a snack and enjoying the views, even with the clouds, headed down the Piper trail (red)." — blackwolf_03278 • Nov 3, 2017
"Attempted first loop hike to Mt. Klem and Mt. Mack by myself. Very muddy and buggy and took a wrong turn towards private property. Changed route plan and hiked a loop up Belknap and Gunstock Mountains." — gullyhiker • Jun 10, 2017
