"Long story short, I had other plans, but wound up here again. It was a bit dreary today, but it was good to be out in the hills again. I took an entirely different route than last time, directly up the north side. I started hiking on a very rough side atv trail from the NE off the Bitterspring Rd & made my way through a maze of washes over to the ridge. There were some neat big cliffs & dryfalls back that way. Bitterspring Rd isn't in horrible shape, but it's not in good shape either. Lots of washboard." — StudioHoodoo • Dec 22, 2019
"Went to finish up my exploration of Bitter Ridge. There is still one numbered bump out in the middle, but I think I've seen the best parts. Drove out the wash from the south & parked along the east side. Went up Peak 2818 first, then over 2861 which is just a bump, then up the impressive East Bitter. The cliffs are amazing! Found the remains of a horse up top. The day started nice, but on top, the wind started howling, the temp dropped dramatically & dark clouds moved in." — StudioHoodoo • Jan 21, 2019
