"My friend Nora and I took Kali and Brooklyn up the Blueberry Mountain loop in Maine to the ledges, summit and then down to Rattlesnake Pool today. We went up White Cairn Trail, did the summit loop and went down Stone House Trail to Rattle snake Pool and then the Gorge on the way down. It was a really fun hike." — Hufflepuff • Aug 20, 2020
"Great weather and views for the day. It was my first hike since moving to Maine and it was great to be surrounded by the pine trees. The swim at Rattlesnake Pond was a great finish to the hike. Now on to the Maine 4000 Challenge!" — DTLarson • Aug 12, 2020
"Great fall hike, with short daylight hours this time of year made a quick assent to the summit. Views from the first set of ledges are great. Maine Mountain guide says a moderate hike, it is fairly steep but short. There are no 360 degree views but circling around the summit can give views in all directions. Lots of cairns at the top can be confusing. For a small peak there was some snow and ice already. A very enjoyable hike all in all and worth the effort. Took the same trail out and back although the look hike is on the list to do. Very impressive stairs climbing up the white cairn trail. Great day hike with friends. " — tvanrosendael • Nov 16, 2013
