"4.17.2022~Happy Easter! Auxiliary Point, LMNRA, NV by land and sea (swamp) w/Jimmy from Callville bay to Hamblin Bay. 10 miles, 250’ gain in 5:30hrs. 8 miles kayak, 2 on foot & swimming in the sandy cove. I spent a few weeks in January doing this peak (the long 12 mile gorgeous & majestic canyon route) and a cluster of other peaks in this Fire Bowl area. I thought to try it again via kayak. Very fun and scenic adventure using our blow up double seater kayak.

"1.5.2022~A solo Long Haul Jog, Scamper and Trek to Auxiliary Point, LMNRA, NV from Northshore Rd. 12 miles, 2,500’ gain in 5:13hrs (including a :35 min lunch break). This is a great route. I had a mini scenic adventure through a gorgeous pristine Canyon that leads to a peninsula & its HP at the mouth of the Lake Mead Narrows by a Sand Dune Beach/Cove. I saw a bighorn Ram and a lot of bones, especially spines, along the way. Fun and exhausting morning. The Lake was like glass and the weather was warm. I used part of Adam Walker’s Track to lead my way through the matrix of drainage & Barrancas near the water.
