Finishing up the epic Rim Walk weekend. We started from the Visitor's Center, were we left off yesterday, and then walked along the rest of the Rim Trail to the South Kaibab Trailhead. We were then going to take the Shoshone Trail to Shoshone Point/Overlook, but it was torn up by mule hooves in the snow and was just a mess. We decided instead to then just walk the road to Yaki Point and nab our last of the rim overlook points - and we can honestly say that we walked the whole thing ourselves. So very, very awesome! Today the snow was pristine and beautiful, the views were incredible. The wind wasn't as bad as yesterday, and we didn't have any additional storms blow over us. Just a great walk on the Rim Trail, and the the final portion was on the shoulder of the road. Not as scenic, but we made it! Took the bus back from Yaki Point to the Visitor's Center before departing. What an awesome trip!
