Stephan didn't feel like anything strenuous, so we went out to the Sheep Foothills and did Foran Grade and Windy Point Ridge. It was a perfect day. The road was still closed to cars, so we saw a ton of cyclists and a few other hikers as well. No snow on our route. We went up the Foran Grade trail, then bushwhacked up the steep grassy slopes to Windy Point Ridge and ate lunch at the lookout point near the cliffs before taking the scree down from there. Short but lovely. Things are turning green and you can see the Front Ranges drying up.
