Met up with Bert for an easy one. The two cruxes of the day were finding a parking spot (lot full at 7) and making our way through the crowds on the Larch Valley trail.

Very few people went off to Eiffel Lake...things were much better off the main trail.
The ascent gully (from the lake) had ankle deep snow, and was a bit slick (frozen mud), but manageable. The upper slopes had significant accumulation. Weaving through a buried boulder field was a challenge, but a group ahead had broken trail, so that helped. That group stopped less than 100m from the summit. We continued. It was okay, deeper but not steep.

No summit views.
Beers to celebrate on the summit and back at Tommy's in Banff.

Nice day.
