Went up via the long scenic way (Boulder Pass, Redoubt Lake and NE Ridge), which is the normal descent route for the well known Pumpkin Ski Traverse. The hidden valley between Heather Ridge and Unity Peak, probably frequented by grizzlies more often than by humans, is dotted with many thousands of larch trees so this is a great larch season hike.
This is a little more than a hike, although last 180 horizontal meters require careful scrambling on huge boulders. The recent snow made footing tricky. It was easy to punch through a hole and twist the ankle or worse. The first 100m of the descent towards Unity-Redoubt col on the boulder field covered with snow required caution as well. It is probably still an "easy" scramble when dry.
