Getting to Table Rock is challenging for a 4.5 mile round trip in a state park. It's hot with no shade, and there are a few rock chutes that are steep and scrambly.
I did it to end the day after the climb of Mt St Helena and it was worth it. There are some views and Table Rock is like a bizarre moonscape.
There are some amazing labyrinths and a village of stone cairns on the way, which are worth checking out. (The trail is less technical to that point.)
