This was the 5th day of a 6 day amazing trip into Banff and Jasper. I don't have a lot of climbing experience but I am very strong. I was stunned about how intense everything was...adjusting to the altitude especially. This last summit was intense. The last 100 yards or so seemed to go straight up and the rock was very loose and extremely dangerous. However I made the summit and the views were amazing. On the way down there was crazy lightening and heavy rain which made it that much more intense. Once at the bottom we soaked in the hot bathes which was amazing! I really found out a lot about myself on this amazing trip and I can't wait to come back next year!
