Fantastic day for Ed and I to traverse the Burroughs range. The only snow/ice found on this trip was hiding out in a few of the cave-like areas in the rock ledges. On our way up to the summit of Witt I spotted a cell phone in a nice leather case just laying on the ground. It was recently lost as it was still warm to the touch and upon opening it I found credit cards, drivers license and cash. I quickly realized she will really be upset once she discovers her loss. Fortunately 20 minutes later we meet her descending and gave her a pleasant surprise. Now she could head back up to the summit feeling much better. On top we enjoy a nice chat with her while taking in the wonderful view.
