Bert and I made the drive to the Crowsnest. When we got there the weather wasn't so great, but it cleared up substantially as the day went by. We parked at the municipal park and hiked up Miner's to the small ice waterfall, then exited the canyon and made our way up to the ridge. There was a bit of scrambling on some slabby/snowy rocks, which was a bit more challenging with the 'shoes on, but otherwise lots of snow. There were some tracks that would appear and disappear, but we did a lot of trail breaking. It was a strenuous day, but entirely worth it to get out. Next time we'll do Wedge Mountain.
