Nice way to kick off what will be an unusually late/short hiking season. Beautiful terrain, beautiful views, and we happened to have beautiful weather too! The parking lot was full at 10am, but most of the traffic must have been there for Potash's neighbor, Hedgehog (another great hike!) because we only crossed paths with a few fellow hikers on our climb. Mount Potash Tr was clear and inviting, and the steepness of some sections brought a little challenge to the otherwise short and easy climb. Well worth it! There seemed to be a fair amount of exposure even far below the summit, so I was glad to be wearing a hat and sunscreen. A plus was getting various great views from different sides of the mountain. High recommend it.
