"I started late on this hike, and it took longer than I thought it would. The summit was a bit windy overnight, but not bad. With the millions of people in Southern California, I find I’d amazing that I had the highest point to myself! Awesome!" — Mojavewanderer • Jun 13, 2022

"Another perfect hike with an awesome group. We started out at South Fork Trailhead and hike up to San Gorgonio via the Dry Lake Loop. Passing by the iconic C47 Memorial before summitting the peak. We descended via the San Bernardino Divide Trail to Dollar Lake Saddle and the Dollar Lake Trail, back down to South Fork. Of course, what kind of hiking host would I be if I didn't suggest we hit up Poopout Hill along the way. " — Philip-Yoho • Sep 15, 2018

"This was actually a solo recon hike up to Dollar Lake Saddle from the South Fork Trail. In preparation for our San Gorgonio hike via South Fork the following week. Of course, I just had to take a detour to visit Poopout Hill." — Philip-Yoho • Sep 7, 2018

"Took my buddy from work, Burgess, out on his first hike. Got him out of the city and on to the South Fork Trail after it got hit by a snow storm. There was about a foot of snow on the trail, which quickly melted in the afternoon. It got so hot, we stripped down to tshirts and shorts. " — kygonzales • Apr 15, 2012

"Been here twice. The first time was on a trip to Dollar Lake in the 90's (Not sure of the year). The second trip was a pass through to Dry Lake in 2001. Special note: I was not pooped out at Poopout Hill either time." — MikeTeeples • Jul 15, 2001
