"First time skiing at Breckenridge. Got in almost 20k of vert. Took Imperial Super Chair up to the top of Peak 8 at 13,000’ then booted it up on top to the ridge to Zoot Chute." — wiweasel • Mar 22, 2024
"Did my first three-summit day at Breckenridge. Hiked Peak 8 (twice), Peak 7, and Peak 6 summits, with ski descents from each. No huge feat on the mountaineering scale (I was starting from the top of the highest lifts) but still something I've been wanting to try for years.
This was the first Peak 8 hike. Skied along the ridge to the south...was originally thinking of skiing Wacky's Chute but the entrance was very sketchy. Skied along the Snow White rope back to Imperial Lift." — wazoheat • Apr 23, 2019

In this stretch I hiked to Peak 8 from the top of Imperial Superchair, skied north into the saddle between Peaks 8 and 7, hiked up to the Peak 7 summit, then skied Peak 7 Bowl (maybe closer to the C.J.'s line; I was really just improvising and having fun so I didn't pay much attention to my route)." — wazoheat • Apr 23, 2019
"We parked in downtown Breckenridge then hoofed it up Ski Hill road to Breckenridge ski area where took service roads up close to the top. Final stretch was an easy climb to the American flag flapping in the wind. The stone wind break complete with a large pad was a nice touch for enjoying lunch with the views." — Nimblefoot • Jul 16, 2016
