A beautiful hike to summit this un-named peak on the southern west flank of the Wyoming Black Hills. The peak is quite visible from HWY 16 to the south with an elevation gain of 1,036’ from the BLM Pit Trails parking area to the peak. Since it was my 60th birthday I decided to hike in from the east, off Summit Ridge, past Fannie Peak. A mere 3 miles round trip from the north side of the base of Fannie Peak. There are remnants of an old two track trail along the west trending ridge line to Peak 5486 ft. A fairly easy hike with beautify 360 degree vistas.
