It's way too hot to be hiking in the Inland Empire, but I didn't feel like driving too far (gas prices don't help either). I got off to an early-ish start and hit an area on the western side of Box Springs Mountain Park. A prominent ridge has an impressive line of rocky peaks. I passed on climbing them since Peakery had historically not acknowledged that they even existed. They were not alone, Peakbagger still has no idea. Fortunately, and without my assistance, Peakery finally discovered them and added them to the database. Suddenly, I had three new local peaks to get!

I started the hike at the corner of Spruce St and Glenhill Dr. An old paved road passes near a home and into the hills, this is the beginning of the hike. Quickly, the pavement ends and turns into a single track trail. The trail passes to the east of Sugarloaf Mountain and continues toward the prominent ridge to the NE. The trail climbs to the top of an un-named peak (which is not on Peakery, and is at about El: 1735 or so). It descends the other side and passes some sort of utility pad in a saddle between peaks. The trail continues up the other side and accesses the peaks in the peakery database. I picked them off one by one. Peak 1980, then Peak 2240, then finishing with Peak 2324 (each peak had a significant dip between them). Table Peak is the next peak over, but I had already climbed it a few years ago. Instead of a revisit, I followed some wild burro trails to the south and connected with the Two Trees Trail and formed a loop back to where I started the hike. By then, temps were about 100° F.
