Stan led Keith and me from Winding Stair Gap Road up a gated road that appears to be the old route of Trail 223E to its new route to an overgrown overlook on the south side of Peak 2066 ft where we worked to clear the overgrowth and blowdowns. During a work break I went on up to the peak and took a photo of Springer Mountain.
