Day Two of our AT section hike started from Ed Garvey AT Shelter and went on into town at Harper's ferry. We roused around 7am, made breakfast and broke camp around 9. After descending into Weverton Cliffs, we dropped further down onto the C/O Canal and headed along the canal on into Historic Harpers Ferry, WV where we ate lunch at the Cannonball Deli and stocked up on ice cream and coffee. After visiting the park visitors center, we headed further up the historic AT church steps and over to the Shenandoah River Bridge where we had the cars parked. We played some Pokemon Go (Poliwag Community Day) on our way back to get the GMC Acadia stashed at Washington Monument State Park and got back into PA around 5pm.
