It was a rainy, crappy weather day. I got some mild nerve damage on my toes last weekend at Mammoth, so I decided to skip the snow camp weekend trip to give my toes a break. I still wanted to hike, so I picked something somewhat easy that weather couldn't ruin. Mike, Dylan & I parked at Rainbow & Starr. We followed the dirt road a few miles to the base of the mountain, then headed up. We were able to find a break in the headwall & made our way up. It was windy, raining & cold at the top, so we didn't stay long. Came back the same way. We did a little over 10 miles with around 1850 feet of gain.
