Left Three Isle with gorgeous views of Worthington and the Northover Ridge valley. Some dense bushwhacking before we gained the saddle. We attempted to skip the snow sections, and climbed a steeper section of the face, which turned out to be fine, but was more hands on and rubblier than expected. After gaining the saddle the views of King gorge we wonderful. Also our decision to skip Northover the day before was justified upon getting a better look at the amount of snow present on the ridge. McHarg was still deeply snow covered so also didn't ascend it. Logbook was new last year (2019) in glorious pink with only one entry. On the way back, we took the safer and more normal descent route, followed the drainage gully a little lower than normal which was easier, but forced us to backtrack a bit up the valley to get down to the creek and back to camp.
