"With the rain taking a break today, I opted for a reliable local hike. Mount Rubidoux is a paved hike, so no mud worries. I parked at Ryan Bonaminio Park and took the sidewalk to the start of the hike. It was good to be back again after a few years! I always appreciate the Riverside city views whenever I am there." — MikeTeeples • Mar 15, 2020

"This is my often repeated family hike. As my daughter grows older, she still expects me to push her up the paved pathway by stroller (after all, I did it last time). The pathway forms a complete circle of the mountain, along with another circle of the summit. Great views of the city of Riverside, especially in the cooler months of the year. Mount Rubidoux is the most popular hike in the area, which means that I always have a lot of uninvited trail using company whenever I go." — MikeTeeples • Jan 14, 2017

"After a night Hike to Potato Mountain in the San Gabriel Mountains I got up super Early to hit Mt. Rubidoux with my Girlfriend the following Morning. It was a beautiful Morning with crazy mist sticking low to the ground over the Santa Ana River below. e reached the top of this awesome piece of land and history in time to watch the sun rise from the top. This was peak #64 of my 100 in 2014 goal." — 1-with-Nature • Sep 1, 2014
