Cheated and rode the Palmer lift up at 2PM. Stashed skis and traversed Whitechuck. Climbed moraine and face. Decided to rope up on the ridge when I fell armpit deep into a snow moat with my feet dangling in the air. Climbed the last 50 degree chutes in the setting sun. 6.5 hours to summit.
