Located the unsignposted track start and walked to the top. Wandered down a couple of other ridges from the summit for a look but returned to the top each time. Ate my lunch while absorbing the wonderful coastal views then returned to the road by the track I walked up.
The top of an old triangulation beacon is at the summit.
