Attempted sunrise summit, didn't make it in time, one hour late (pretty ambitious goal...). Sunrise was a bust. The scrambling wasn't very enjoyable, especially on the way down. "Tedious" is the word, never really very difficult, but constantly annoying. Crux was very interesting, we went through the window. Pretty silly but fun part. Loose rock galore, but firm enough to give you hope. I didn't really enjoy this one, neither did my cousin, more of a chore than a fun day on a mountain. Alas, the views were good despite the smoke. Frozen lake is absolutely beautiful.... I won't be back!

Nice, through the window. Yes, I would agree it is more tedious than difficult.

Is it worth it? How difficult is it? Anything comparable?

@leigh-annewebster It's kind-of hard to describe.. there were a few class 4 moves, with the crux being pretty tricky to get into, so there is some technicality to it but not much, most of it is just moderate/difficult scrambling.. HOWEVER, the position of the scrambling made it much more difficult than it actually was, you're exposed on the ridge, and there is loose rock everywhere, so although it wasn't technically challenging for the most of the route, it was quite a serious scramble for that reason. It took us a long time to descend. The views are very good and that area is awesome, frozen lake is a certain gem, but as a scramble I really did not enjoy it. Is it worth it? I'd say sure, but I wouldn't put it very high on your list. I don't think it's a "must do". The crux is quite spicy, one of the tougher ones I've done, but that might be because I'm a pretty large human, getting into that crack might be easier for smaller persons.
