Walked up from Doughboy North Road after having asked permission to cross the farmland. Used the main ridge on the TR of Arthur Creek as the route. The going was good until about 500m from the summit where negotiating the short scrub, a couple of sharp dips & short steep uphill bits was slower going.
The route is not tracked or marked. It took 2hrs 45mins to reach the summit.
I saw a few goats and heard many more in the high bush & tall scrub zone.
There is an old iron pipe trig beacon on the summit of Mt Diedrichs.
