Very scenic scramble with a long approach. Class 4 climb ("difficult scramble") between the false and true summit with significant exposure on one side. The rest is a very long walk-up, sometimes on the steep loose rock or hard dirt, except a short scramble through a cliffband blocking the SW slope ("upper-moderate" or "difficult scramble").
Kane recommends an ice-axe but I don't think it is needed except perhaps in the early season. The remnant glacier can be easily avoided.
