I am silly and hopeful and tenderhearted. I have 4 super crazy-fun kids and an awesome husband who is my best friend. My life is pretty nuts, but we make it work. And we manage to have fun (most of the time) while getting things done. I like to cook Indian and Mexican and Ethiopian food. I like to dance in the kitchen with my kids. I love to go on dates with my husband. I like pickles...lots and lots of pickles. I like candy, but I try not to eat it. I like spending time with family and friends. I like being a nurse, but sometimes I wish I was one in Africa instead. I love Jesus...he Has forgiven me and loves me, and that is totally awesome. I love Ethiopia...the homeland of my kids. It has changed me. I like curly hair. And there is a lot of it in my house. I like crafty things like scrapbooking and knitting and quilting. I like making yummy cookies and then getting other people to eat them. I like snow. And fall. And being in Minnesota. less
