"My buddy Paul and I completed the Issy Alps 50K Endurance Challenge! AND I finally got to stick a Peakery sticker on the infamous mailbox atop Mailbox Peak! The route is about 33 miles long and includes about 13,000' of elevation gain. It involves climbing Mailbox Peak, Mount Teneriffe, Mount Si (to haystack basin), and Little Si, connecting them all on foot. Although these are actually Cascade peaks, there are 100K and 100 Mile versions of the challenge that extend into the Issaquah Alps range, boasting much more elevation gain." — Al-Rashid • Sep 7, 2019

"I took my sister up the scramble route and down the main trail. We saw a couple mountains goats on our way up. They disappeared over an edge and down some terrain much hairier than what we were scrambling up, haha." — Al-Rashid • Jul 24, 2019

"I think I forgot what direct sunlight actually felt like. I was in North Bend soaking it up all day. We spent most of the day climbing at Torguson Park, then we decided to go for a quick hike. We took the scramble route up Little Si then took the trail down." — Al-Rashid • Mar 19, 2017

"Hike it with my wife. It was a beautiful day - a lot of people on the trail. On the way down, hiked the Boulder Garden Loop - that was a killer!! Very steep, but well worth it." — don.fogarty • Sep 20, 2014

"It was an after-work weeknight kind of hike. Went on a steady pace and managed to make it to the top, after doing a monster hike the day before (Mt. Pugh). Great opportunity to try out my new mountaineering boots! " — aimk13 • Jul 30, 2012

"Needed to summit something since I failed to summit St. Helens due to poor weather conditions two days prior to this hike. First visit to Little Si since 2008 and went with a few friends after work. It was pretty pleasant! Trail was mostly dry, and the weather on this day was fantastic. " — aimk13 • Jun 11, 2012

"Only a few blow-downs, and less mud on the trail than I expected. The sky was clear all day, making for a surprisingly warm break on summit. We were circled by a large Harrier for almost 5 minutes as we ate." — Jeb • Jan 27, 2012

"Our hike began today with the typical Northwest drippy rain which was quickly replaced by gray overcast skies. The trail was in good condition despite being quite muddy in places. Little Si is a popular destination for local hikers and this overcast Saturday morning was no exception. " — Cmschaults • Jun 11, 2011

"Easy jaunt up before an afternoon rain. Spring has sprung and so have the crowds! Trail volunteer crews, cub scouts, climbers, trailrunners, Mt Rainier backpack-trainers, you name it. A true circus." — scott • May 14, 2011
"Steffy and I had a leisurely jaunt up to the summit with Maverick leading the way. Beautiful blue skies made for a great view of Big Si. We could just make out the hikers ascending haystack above. Mount Si is far more impressive from this perspective." — Jeb • Jul 20, 2010
