Drove up from Vegas to do this short hike. We met at the Kolob Canyon visitor center, then drove about an hour to the trailhead. There is quite a bit of private property up here and the route we used to the summit did cross it. I tried to get contact info for the land owner before leaving Vegas, but was unsuccessful. Previous trip reports mentioned meeting the landowner near the trailhead and getting permission in person, so that's what we were hoping for. Well, we never saw the guy. We made sure to follow the rules that the landowner had requested of a previous party and stayed on their track. The hike wasn't great, but the views made up for it. It was windy and cold at the summit.
