"Drove up from Vegas to do this short hike. We met at the Kolob Canyon visitor center, then drove about an hour to the trailhead. There is quite a bit of private property up here and the route we used to the summit did cross it. I tried to get contact info for the land owner before leaving Vegas, but was unsuccessful. Previous trip reports mentioned meeting the landowner near the trailhead and getting permission in person, so that's what we were hoping for. Well, we never saw the guy. We made sure to follow the rules that the landowner had requested of a previous party and stayed on their track. The hike wasn't great, but the views made up for it. It was windy and cold at the summit." — Kevin • Nov 5, 2017

"Took the easy approach from Lower Basin Road. After that it was all cross-country and some awful bushwacking. The summit had some blocks to get you over the scrub with great views of Kolob Canyons and Signal Mt. I placed a summit register on top as I'm curious to see how many people actually make an effort to suffer up this thing." — Christopher • Jul 24, 2013
