"After considerable hiking along beautiful and scenic 2N19 above Green Valley Lake to the east and a bunch of cross-country ceanothus wading in that area as well reaching a tandem of random unnamed peaks, I did a quick stop off along Hwy 18 to hit an extra albeit "official" peak to round off my day. Hiking up the dirt road to the towers couldn't be easier, but the actual summit is on a mound to the east where you pick a route through ferns and some ceanothus. There is an odd looking weather station there. There are nice views from this lofty perch along the lower west ridge of the San Bernardino Mountains." — brianpowell • Apr 13, 2019

"It was possible to drive to the summit. Instead, I parked on the service road right off Highway 18 and walked up. The summit is filled with towers surrounded by fences. I walked along the fences and poked around on the summit for a bit before simply walking back down." — MikeTeeples • Sep 13, 2017
