"Long windy walk from Princetown north to Great Mis tor returning by the smaller stacks at Over Tor. Crossing the road at Four Winds and then up hill to follow the track back to Princetown." — MuchMoorWalking • Sep 26, 2020

"Set off from the base of Little Staple, heading north to Middle Staple, Greater Staple, and Roos Tors before heading east going via Little Roos Tor to camp overnight on Great Mis." — WessexMan • Aug 9, 2020

"From the car park off the B 3357, by the pump house ruin, using the track to Little Mis Tor, then onwards to the summit. Returned the same way. Bright sunshine, with broken cloud borne on a strong northerly wind. Solo. Skylarks, wheatears and Dartmoor ponies." — marktrengove2 • May 4, 2019

"An ok Tor, not my favourite but not my least favourite either. Devils frying pan was a nice find and some of the outcrops were nice, I just found Great Mis itself a little underwhelming!" — Evie-and-Me • Feb 13, 2019

"My Bombardier Leadership course was carried out in Plymouth and around Dartmoor. I also spent a few weeks on Military excercise in and around the Moors. Oakhampton was our basecamp, along with many other bivy areas around DTA (Dartmoor Training Area) spent many hours, both day and night, tabbing around Dartmoor in the cold and wet......it was ALWAYS cold and wet !!.
A beautiful area though, one day, I'd love to go back under my own guidance, and appreciate the moors in my own time. " — HikingViking • Apr 12, 1997
