Icy early morning drive to start of walk, unfortunately spun car on ice, but ok, - so continued with walk. Set off from Stonethwaite, crossed the beck,walked along the valley, before cutting up steeply onto the summit plateau area. It is quite icy on the plateau, with parts of Dock Tarn frozen. There are several small tops on the plateau, we visit most of them and then return to the damaged car.
